Earth Mother Types

I do think that earth mother types are overlooked sometimes. Perhaps they tend to even overlook themselves. Earth mothers tend to be nurturers first and nurture touches everything they do and say and think. They tend to be non-aggressive except in matters of defending others. They are not all full figured but somehow appear that way by the way they dress and carry themselves. They don't wear their sexuality openly, tend not to understand or practice the art of flirting as well as other women. They are grounded in the earth, heavy and massive in their ability to survive, to hold on when all odds are against them. Like the earth others see the manifestation of her worth, but often miss the true worth beneath the surface. Her desires and ways of knowing run very deep to a source of power that even she cannot understand fully. She does without knowing how she knows what to do sometimes. Her goal is to nurture, to plant seeds and aid growth. She knows that this means emotional, mental, physical and spiritual. She knows by instinct when to be kind and forgiving and when to be firm. The most dangerous 'sin' you can commit against one is apathy and neglect. They will do without for extreme periods of time as is their nature and they seem to be able to turn very little into enough to sustain themselves and the others. They will give and not keep score, but eventually even they run short on resources and can only feed the others until the food is gone.

Most earth mothers tend to be quiet powers, even silent at times, yet her influence is there. She like the earth appear to stand still, quietly, just there. But, as we know appearances can be deceiving. She runs deep to a core invisible and not often given much thought by herself or others. Her sexuality is there, deep and often un-explored, in some cases not even thought of at all. She is tapped into fire at the center, a place that if she bothers to tap into it allows her to know passion and if she dares to act on it to the benefit of herself and any who would wish to share it with her. She knows that the act of sex heals as well as it pleasures and releases. She like the earth cannot really be owned although some would delude themselves into thinking such because she appears so gentle and vulnerable at her surface. She prefers not to own things as her nature is to encourage growth, and that requires death, birth then death and birth again.
