They are typically used in cryogenic chambers, as well as in counteracting the destructive overheating induced by an active boost gland. If used to counteract a boost gland, the power of damage caused by the gland is greatly reduced. Thus the user must resist an attack of (gland's effective rating)M each combat round, instead of (gland's effective rating x 2)M. |
