The Setup:
If the PCs don't contact Dr. Reagan themselves, he may contact them instead. Either way, he will want them to meet him at his lab complex outside Seattle. The lab is far beneath a dirt lot, accessed by only a single elevator in a shed. By the time the group is done with their elevator ride, the scanners inside will be able to count the hairs on their head. But no reason to worry them with that information, eh? ;-) Any mages in the group will also find that they are unable to perceive anything astrally. Nor will anyone be able to transmit in or out. In short, the lab is sealed tight. The group will be meet by Dr. Reagan's assistant, Dr. Nixon. As with Mr. Johnson, allow the party a history check on meeting them both. If a party member achieves three successes on one of the three, the target number drops to (6) on the rest. It would appear that they are the only two people in the entire complex.
The Job:
Once Dr. Nixon has made the group comfterble in a conference room, Dr. Reagan will begin the briefing. Once again the job sounds simple: pick up a delivery across town, and bring it back to the lab. Dr. Reagan will supply a certified credstick with which to pay for the case, as well as a picture of the case itself. The case is bulky, large, black, and supposedly weighs 80 kilograms. Dr. Reagan stresses that he has had trouble with thieves in the past, which is the reason for the armed carriers. For picking up the case and bringing it to him, Dr. Reagan will pay ¥500,000, to be split any way the group decides. To sweeten the pot, he'll offer to make cutting edge biotech availible to the PCs at half cost.
Behind the Scenes:
The main reason Dr. Reagan is haveing trouble with thieves is that he is transportaing dangerously large amounts of weapons-grade Uranium-235 without any permits. If this fact is later descovered, he will maintain that it is research supplies. (What does a bio-engineer need U-235 for anyway?)
Speed Bump:
The pick up point is in the middle of a corn field more than 20 miles away. Unfortunatly, the first hurdle is less than 10 miles away on a rough country road. A rivial team of shadowrunners has set up an ambush. The runners include 2 combat mages, 1 street samurai, and 1 ex company man. If the party does not notice the ambush in time, the mages will use magic to stop or destroy the PC's vehicals. Otherwise the battle will be of a more mundain type. If the charicters try to flee in a vehical, tires will be shot out and engiens melted. Those fleeing on foot will be tracked by magic means.
Death From Above:
Once the group arives at the hidden pick up point, they will have some time to rest and regroup. The area is a large cleared circle in the corn, far away from any civilization. Half an hour after ariving, a helecopter lands with the case. The PCs trade an unsecred cred stick for Reagan's case. (For the less scrupulous runners, the cred stick has ¥1,000,000 on it. Those who want to steal it should be able to get away easy, but thier lives would become very interesting, very quickly.) A few minutes after the courier leaves, a recon drone rockets directly overhead. The clock is now ticking. A few minutes after the drone passes overhead, a fully armed gunship arives on the scean, and begins an attack on the group. Keep obsesive track of who has the case, and wether it's in a spot that might take a hit or two. While it wouldn't explode (Unless the GM is especially sadistic), if it gets cracked it will start leaking sizable amounts of radiation. If there are survivers from the first group, they will join in on the attack by the helecopter.
Wrapup:
Once the PCs have either defeated the second group, or successfully run away, the trip back should be smooth. The exception to this is if the case is cracked. A cracked case is a magnet for such bad luck as police, toxic elementals, bizzare paranormals, and other nastyness. Once back at the lab, Dr. Reagan promptly pays the group, and puts the case with a large collection of similiar cases. He seems compleatly unconcerned if the case is cracked, and may even be momentarily confused if someone brings up the radiation hazard. As long as the runners bring back the case, Dr. Reagan will be pleased and imediatly offer them the next job.

- 1 point for discovering what the cargo is
- 2 points for taking out the oposition team 1
- 2 points for taking out the oposition team 2
- 3 for successfully delivering the cargo
