Old GreyLight GuestBooks

Leaving a guest book on a high traffic site such as this can be a hassle, but it can also be very very interesting... So, for the first time in 2 years, we are going to switch out our guest book for a new one, and give the old guest book it's own place. To all of you who have written words of thanks to us, thank you! Sometimes the encouragement left here was the only thing that kept us going. To those of you who have left personal statements and political commentary, thanks for making us think. And to all of you that we have no clue what you were talking about, thanks anyway!

I had problems accessing this site recently, but now I've gotten through it is worth it. There is an incredible amount of stuff for Poser and it looks good. Keep up the good work BTW For some reason all the text appears on the extreme right of the screen in a narrow, realy long column, is this deliberate or just my browser?

Good Day: Great Site. I see that Paint 3D is no longer available. What has replaced it if anything. I have just started to use Poser 4.0. Now I find that MetaCreations has sold all of their programs to Adobe and others. Once again I have purchased programs that are unsupported and or with an unknown future. So whats new. I am a commercial photographer and videographer. I want to use Poser along with other programs such as MetaCreations Carrara 1.0, Bryce 4.0, Canoma 1.0, Adobe Photoshop 5.0 and Premiere 5.1 plus other support programs to produce animated previews of proposed video commercials. To bring a storyboard to life. I want to work out all the details before sets are built, actors are hired and equipment and staff are costing me money. I want to use Poser and support programs to preview concepts for proposed still photography in the same manner as with the video productions. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. I am looking for programs to design clothing from patterns as a taylor would for my models. If you know of such a program please let me know. Thank You Bob Shade

Just a brief note to say I had the opportunity of checking out Edward Hall's photo rendering "Glory". Absolutely outstanding! I sat looking at it on the screen in awe for several minutes before saving it to the HD.My wife and I rented "Saving Private Ryan" the other night. I tried to contact G. Crowfoot concerning the Poser Archive, but had no luck. When I tried to download the posable "Fighter Pilot," I unzipped the file and received the .rsr file as well as the .CR2 file. Unfortunately there was no other files. The notes suggest that once the figure is downloaded there should also be a 3ds file. This was not there and as a result I could not open the figure in "Poser3." Could someone help me with this problem please. Your assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated.
